Peter Larson, for those of you who don’t know, is an old scout from troop 820 who turned 18 two years ago. He said we couldn’t win camporee, so since we did, everyone with a facebook is posting “Peter, you were wrong.” on his wall. If you haven’t yet, do it now.

CAMPOREE IS OURS!!!
After months of preparation, hard work, and determination, we demolished the other troops and took the camporee flag home with us this year. The Sharks patrol placed 2nd best patrol, and the Cobras placed 3rd best in the senior division. We don’t know the exact placements for every event yet, because there was no awards ceremony at the end like there usually is. There’s no meeting tomorrow because, lets face it, we’re all kinda tired of seeing each other.
I’m proud of everyone who went to camporee and competed like they did. Thank you to all the parents (and Gabe) for helping and supporting us through it.Troop 820 is officially the best troop in the district again, so be proud men.
Merit Badge Wiki
Because we’re starting merit badge classes, it would be very helpful if you could read the merit badge books. Except for the fact that we don’t have enough books for everyone, so there is the Merit Badge Wiki which has many requirements from Scout to Eagle Palms, as well as all current merit badges with updated requirements, and worksheets for all merit badges. Really great website, so you should check it out.
On a side note, the calendar has been updated through November (scroll down for it).
