After months of preparation, hard work, and determination, we demolished the other troops and took the camporee flag home with us this year. The Sharks patrol placed 2nd best patrol, and the Cobras placed 3rd best in the senior division. We don’t know the exact placements for every event yet, because there was no awards ceremony at the end like there usually is. There’s no meeting tomorrow because, lets face it, we’re all kinda tired of seeing each other.
I’m proud of everyone who went to camporee and competed like they did. Thank you to all the parents (and Gabe) for helping and supporting us through it.Troop 820 is officially the best troop in the district again, so be proud men.

Nice job gentlemen. You worked hard, followed the rules and came out on top!! Doesn’t get much better then that. Let’s start preparing for a repeat!

You seriously humbled a number of troops who thought they had a chance, and your Scoutmaster as well. As you recall, less than a month earlier I told you I didn’t think you had a chance. You insisted you were in it to win it and put the hammer down in your preperation. The week before Camporee I saw some great things in your prep, and knew you would be competitive. In the end, you dominated, absolutely dominated the weekend and as you will see when we award the ribbons next Monday, you made my job of selecting this Court of Honor’s “Honor Patrol” very, very difficult.
